- 6 tblsp. butter, room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups flour, sifted
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- Grated rind of 1 lemon
- 3/4 cup fresh raspberries
For the bread:
Steps
1) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
2) In a medium bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, and salt.
3) n a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and 1 cup of sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add the dry mixture to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk.
4) Pour half of mixture in pan. Put blue berries and pour rest of mixture on top.
